Intragastric Balloon?

The Intragastric Balloon is a weight loss procedure that involves the placement of a silicone balloon into the stomach. Pre-Treatment

In the first step, the patient is picked up from the airport with our VIP transfer vehicle and placed in the hotel. In the second step, the patient is examined by the relevant doctor. The patient is informed about the surgery by the doctor here. In the third step, necessary blood tests are performed. The patient is asked to sign the consent form for the surgery. The patient who has gone through all these stages is now ready for the surgery.

What Is Intragastric Balloon Placement?

    • Balloons that cannot be swallowed are placed in the fundus part of the stomach endoscopically under sedation anesthesia and inflated to an average of 550-600 cc, varying from person to person, and the procedure time is approximately 15-20 minutes.
    • The adjustable gastric balloon is inflated to 400-450 cc when first applied. After 3 months, following the acclimatization of the stomach, the balloon is inflated 200-250 cc more, so that complaints such as stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting are tolerated during the acclimatization period due to excessive inflation of the balloon in the first application. more easily. Finally, it is removed by endoscopic method under sedation anesthesia by endoscopic method.
    • No anesthesia or endoscopy is required for swallowable gastric balloons, but the balloon is inflated 500-600 cc after making sure that the swallowed balloon is in the proper place under scopic imaging. Since swallowable balloons are expelled by the body 4 months after application, they do not need to be removed again.
